I’m Sansom Milton. I study how societies navigate conflict, negotiate peace, and rebuild—with a focus on the Arab region.
01 / ABOUT
My work examines the political and institutional conditions that shape peace and recovery.
Based at the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies in Doha, I work across post-conflict reconstruction, mediation, higher education, and humanitarian policy. My research brings comparative analysis into conversation with the experiences of conflict-affected societies.
I am the author of three books and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Peacebuilding and Development. Alongside academic research, I contribute policy analysis and advisory work for governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental organisations.
